"The much-rumoured performance by Led Zeppelin is not set to take place. However, frontman Robert Plant is slated to perform with Alison Krauss, as is Lez Zeppelin, the all-female Led Zeppelin tribute band."

I really didn't mean that to be arrogant, I meant that more as a "I look really hard into these things." This very well could have been a mistake, I'd just like to hear a) what happened and b) I'd like a little bit more clear choice of words.

I hope you didn't think my post was calling you arrogant. I meant it as sincerely as possible. It really is nice having a lawyer around analyzing the choice in words. Have some karma as a token proof of my gratitude
edit: karma when i can... apparently I'm out for the time being...
yeah its just really weird that so many sources broke this, people like the AP, people who wouldn't print a full story about the promoters confirming zep if they misread "Lez".
IF zep is really booked without a world tour as well, this is the ONLY way superfly could do it, and perhaps a few outlets jumped the gun? the problem with zep from day one was how to deal with the clusterf**ck over zep tickets. letting tix go on sale for a little while before name dropping ZEP was the only way to do it.
I'm not buying anything until AC/Superfly makes a definitive statement. If they don't quell the rumors being fueled by the Associated Press running with the story, something is definitely up.
