yeah MIA MAI and AIM all lead to M.I.A. I suppose...hard substance/soft substance never made sense for Iron and Wine to me...I don't think you can characterize a liquid as soft, especially a hard (as in alcoholic) beverage...
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."

I have to agree with this one, everyone thinks it is Iron & Wine but who refers to wine as soft? Really? I mean I haven't really thought of an alternative answer to the clue but, to me, it seems like a silly answer for that clue....but then again I am the one who is obviously wrong so what do I know...haha

well i just looked up wine terms and found this:
soft: A soft wine is one that is round and fruity, low in acidity, and has an absence of aggressive, hard tannins.

I'm glad someone started this thread. I've been wondering the same thing. I'm suspicious that they specifically came up with clues to make people wrongfully think the more heavily rumored bands would be there. I mean, who is going to guess the Sparrow Quartet when they all want to see the Black Crowes or Counting Crows? How about the More than one Manchester thing? I was really hoping for Oasis or the Verve myself.
