I still have my questions as well. Ticket prices are WAY steep for the lineup theyve given us. I want to wait n see what pans out in the next few weeks. Ill still get my tix on the 16th, in hopes that we get a nice surprise shortly after.

Actually, they have said it.
When asked outright, Capps denied that the band would make a surprise appearance. “Believe me, if Zeppelin was going to be there we would be shouting it from the rooftops,” he said, adding that no one would be more surprised than him and his team if the band did perform.
More acts will be announced in the coming weeks, but fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for any more big announcements.
“I don’t think you’ll see (any more) major headliners,” Capps said. “We never have our complete lineup locked down, but we’re further along (this year) than we’ve ever been in the past.”

I'm still a bit suspicious, but now as before it just seems unlikely that Zep would plan a show long before their tour, and in the middle of Plant's tour with Krauss. I still say 2009 is a lock.
they can still be added. my theory the whole time was that they would not be announced with the original lineup because it would push out a lot of Bonnaroo faithfuls. Ticket prices point to them being there and it appears Jack JOhnson is headlining which i think Zep would take his spot. they can always be in an addition

dude, zep is definitely not what is gonna push out the roo faithful. thats what metallica and kanye are for

i think he meant push out the roo faithful in a sense that announcing LZ would lead to mass zep fans snatching up tickets, not letting the bonnaroo faithful have a chance to get one in time before it sold out. right?
exactly i knowurider Zep fans would buy up all the tix for the 1st US appearance because bonnaroo tix will oonly be slightly more expensive than a Zep show. I know Zep fits in with Broo they're in my opinion up there with the Beatles for Greatest Band all time
I still find it hard to believe that so many news agencies could screw this up.... its definitely really weird... its like I can't get my hopes up but they're holding me to thinking its a possibility...
