Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'm betting that NME will find out when the rest of us do.
I'm a huge Radiohead fan...back when the new album was still a mystery and one of the members of Radiohead would post about the recording process on their blog, it wasn't uncommon for NME to have "SPECIAL EXCLUSIVE NEWS ON THE UPCOMING STUDIO ALBUM FROM RADIOHEAD!!!111!!"
Why are they the only site with a surprise headliner in their post? Hopefully it does mean LZ since its a british site, not just a cruel marketing trick to rub in the fact that Metallica is gracing us with their presence, and the british festies have real headliners.
Man, that actually could make sense with the clue, too!
"What clouds taste like" is obviously (?) a reference to the Lips' song "Clouds Taste Metallic." Instead of Metallica, though, why not Led Zeppelin? The band's name was originally spelled Lead Zeppelin, and Lead is a metal...and zeppelins fly through the air...
So really, if Clouds do Taste Metallic, a Lead Zeppelin would be a lot like a cloud!
I don't know. They could just as easily pull the information off the Roo website and call it a "surprise" because they break it at the same time Roo does. I'm just skeptical.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high about Zeppelin. I still don't think it's going to happen. Plus, that would seriously affect ticket sales
Lol, I know, I'm not expecting Zeppelin to be there that much...I'm really kinda just trying to figure out ways to come to the conclusion that Metallica won't be there.
*Sigh* Guess I'll just have to wait these five long hours...

Hey everyone! I've been reading this forum non-stop for the past few days and figured I would finally join the fun. Anyway, with everyone saying this link is to a British publication, maybe the special headliner is none other than Sir Paul McCartney. I know people have speculated that a few of the clues may possibly either allude to him or Ringo Starr, or something else Beatles related.
I severely doubt that NME has any more information than we do at this point. They said "surprise headliner!" so that you'd be refreshing their site instead of bonnaroo.com at midnight.
If they said "we're gonna post the same info that everyone else is getting", they wouldn't get nearly as many page hits.
Ok, I'm new to to Inforoo, though I've been hanging back watching for quite some time, anticipating the lineup. I came with a theory that I got so excited about that I can't help but share. NME.com made it a point that the headliner announcement came from the Los Angeles staff. And they created this article today. Well, also new in the news today, Oasis has flown out to LA to finish production on their seventh album. Coincidence?.... I think not!!!!!
