I would say there is a very, very, very good chance you will see them at Roo. With their rising popularity (but still on the edge of being an unknown) now would be the perfect opportunity to book them.
I'd love to see Vampire Weekend, though I kind've think the hype is killing them. They're already huge in the indie scene, and they barely even have a first album out.
That being said, I can't wait to see them at Roo. XD

I like the album but its not the kind of thing I feel compelled to see live. I mean I'd be there if there wasn't anything else on the lineup.
I agree; I like them but with all the hype and depending on who else is playing at the same time, I may see the other band. But I think they would be a great addition to the lineup
From what I understand, their NY shows are basically giant dance parties, which would definitely make their live show that much better, putting them more in line with the Talking Heads than other hyped-up hipster product
