Anyone think he will be at roo this year in some form? I saw him at a club in Columbia,SC a couple years back, and at the XMAS jam in asheville.. I would love to see the popper project or blues traveler at roo, plus he plays a sick harmonica, so he could be at the superjam too.

When they first started touring I was a huge fan of Blues Traveler and never missed a show if they were in the area - plus I travelled to see them a few times. Always an amazing live show, but I guess over the years they just lost something for me. I heard part of their show at Roo 2006 and it was good though. I would still see them if they played Roo.
OHHH Blues Traveler tore it up at roo '06! My favorite part was when G. Love came out and did "The Joker" and it was so good!! Bring on Popper!! John Popper Project would be sick! Their cd is a really tight and concise record!
Loved em in 06! John Popper project rarely leaves the CD player in my car (it's a 5 disc). I would love to have him a 'Roo this year. Bring on the Popper!
I've seen them a few times and they're fine. I'm a bigger fan of the idea of Popper sitting in with others. I saw Blues Traveler/Soundgarden/Pearl Jam/Neil Young about fifteen years ago and Popper came out and played on Baba O'Reily with Pearl Jam. He's also recorded Tuesday's Gone with Metallica (and friends). So there's ties to two rumoured headliners.

i was really disappointed that I missed blues traveler in 06, and actually can't recall what made me miss it, so I'd love them/him to be back. But in terms of his collaborations I've always loved the Roseland Hall 1995 All Along the Watchtower with DMB, Trey and John Popper.
