late late lying in bed a few nights ago a song by the band started playing and i got this idea in my head based off lineup speculation. a few speculated lineups have included clapton, one of the "leaked lineups" had levon helm and emmylou harris. put these three in the superjam, add robbie robertson who was at claptons guitar fest, maybe neil young, perhaps some bob dylan, ringo starr, dr.john and who ever else feels like showing up to have my dream superjam reliving the fateful night in winterland 1976 of the last waltz!
i dunno this just sounded better to me than a hip hop superjam sorry

No need to be sorry. That would be sick. I love hip-hop too.
That being said, hopefully last years Superjam continues the trend of it being BIG musicians who jam. I mean I don't mind jambands and their members, but would you be more excited to see...
Rob Derhak Billy Martin Trey Anastasio and guests
and admittedly that is pretty sick, or...
Eric Clapton BB King Steve Winwood and gueusts?
While the jamband members may imrovise and "jam" a little more, I just wouldn't miss the chance to see the legends play together.
Buckethead did pretty much play in a Superjam at the '02 Bonnaroo. He was with Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains and their set was entirely improv. I wish Claypool would bring that band back and give his fancy band a break.
