Are minus the bear a possibility for Roo. I really would like to see them live but as of yet i haven't got the opportunity. in know that they are playing langeredo and coachella so i don't think it is unlikely but then again i don't see one band that isn't a jam band playing too many festivals in one year.
If they aren't there i hope superfly books some other really good nonjam bands for the festival.
I think Minus the Bear is one of those bands that will play several major festivals this year...sort of like Cold War Kids, LCD Soundsystem, M.I.A., Blonde Redhead, Ghostland Observatory, the Black Keys, Rodrigo y Gabriela, etc. were in 2007.
I'd put the chances of them playing Bonnaroo at about 75%.

I could see several bands there this year that have animals or things relating to animals, insects, mammals, pets etc. in their band name:
Minus the Bear Grizzly Bear Band of Horses Wolf Parade Doves Cat Power Animal Collective Panda Bear Danger Mouse Eels Super Furry Animals Arctic Monkeys Sea Wolf Andrew Bird Mogwai - do you remember the movie Gremlins? Dinosaur Jr. Black Crowes Gov't Mule Counting Crows Vampire Weekend White Rabbit Rabbit in the Moon Amfibian The Bird and the Bee Black Moth Super Rainbow Buffalo Killers (local band out of Cincinnati, formerly known as Thee Shams, opened up for the Black Crowes a few months ago) Donna the Buffalo Dr. Dog (hoping they return) The Eagles (I'd be fine with them headlining) Gorillaz (I don't know if it's even possible) The Heavy Pets Kermit Ruffins and the BBQ Swingers (Kermit the Frog - does that count?) Leftover Salmon Pelican Ryan Adams and the Cardinals Snoop Dogg Sparklehorse
but the one I'm really hoping for is Yusuf Islam, also known as Cat Stevens...
