its total BS...its just really strange that 99% of the people on that list have a free schedule during the Roo. whoever made this list did their homework and worked hard to get us all worked up. i'm impressed.

Yup, I checked it out as well... As far fetched as it is, they did, in fact do some homework.
Gotta be bs. No way this is real. At least, dear god I hope not, cause I said that about last year's leaked line-up too. I said, please please don't let Tool play Bonnaroo and I didn't go last year mostly because of that.
There's some good stuff in there, but I don't want to deal with Marilyn Manson, Kid Rock, and Travis Tritt fans. Travis Tritt? Seriously... if this is the line-up, then Bonnaroo has truly forsaken me and I won't be setting myself up for another disappointing line-up.
EDIT: Chuck Berry is very much alive. He owns a venue and restaurant in St. Louis and still occasionally plays shows there.
I would really enjoy a great deal of shows that are on this list. I don't think i'd mind it being real actually! Just my opinion though.. there are definitely some weird/out there ones though

Total BS. Look at other years lineups, and you'll see it's totally different. I mean Coldplay and the Killers? Sounds like Virgin fest to me. No offence to anyone who like them, but those bands don't really belong at Roo. Also, Kid rock and Manson? Too strange. I can see maybe one of those 4 bands, but way too many non-Roo manistream bands listed.
On the other hand you can't go wrong with Sonic Youth and Mars Volta : )

there was no N.M.A.S. or Galactic...and that just doesnt make sense to me. IMO the year that roo doesnt have either of those bands are they day they can change the festival name.. Next thing you know the bloodfarts will be playing roo'
theres no way this can be real...like attornoroo said, it could be very possible that its just a big publicity stunt to get everyone talking about how ridiculous the lineup is, or however it is you feel about it. for all we know they could be doing this to get everyone to stop snooping trying to figure what the actual lineup is...who knows and i think every year theres been some lineup out there that has been incredibly far off the real thing, like last year for instance. at least its fun to look at though lol
from the wikipedia entry on Bonnaroo (my favorite line is in boldface type):
"On January 25th, 2007, Black Book Magazine's website posted a "leaked" lineup for Bonnaroo 2008.[3] The brief article by contributor Nick Haramis names the following bands:
The Eagles, Van Halen, Coldplay, John Mayer, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, My Morning Jacket, B.B. King, Return to Forever, The Mars Volta, Willie Nelson, Underworld, Kid Rock, Ornette Coleman, The Word, Levon Helm Band, Emmylou Harris, Chuck Berry, Marilyn Manson, The Killers, Umphrey’s McGee, James Blunt, The Moody Blues, George Jones, A Tribe Called Quest, Richard Thompson’s “1000 Years of Popular Music,” Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, Chris Isaak, Donovan, Lee “Scratch” Perry, The Shins, Sonic Youth, Travis Tritt, DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist, Os Mutantes, Page McConnell, Ministry, Etta James, Neko Case, Bustle in Your Hedgerow, Miranda Lambert, Femi Kuti, Shpongle, The Polyphonic Spree, Disco Biscuits, Anthony Braxton, Counting Crows, Loudon Wainwright III, Cat Power & Dirty Delta Blues, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Iron & Wine, Billy Bragg, Kinky, Yonder Mountain String Band, Benevento-Russo Duo, She & Him, Girl Talk, Joe Jackson, Arrested Development, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, John Zorn, Blind Melon, Cake, Lotus, Leftover Salmon, Sugarland, Super Furry Animals, Ghostland Observatory, Deltron 3030, The Futureheads, The Magnetic Fields, Caribou, Tortured Soul, Col. Bruce & the Quark Alliance, Saul Williams, The New Deal, Infected Mushroom, State Radio, Of Montreal, The Bravery, Colbie Caillat, EOTO, Avett Brothers, Pat Green, British Sea Power, Vashti Bunyan, GWAR, The Whigs, Konono No. 1, The Slits, Colin Hay, The Coup, Why?, The Dirtbombs, Rocco DeLuca & The Burden, My Brightest Diamond, Six Organs of Admittance, Dengue Fever, Viva Voce, Two Ton Boa, The King Khan & BBQ Show, Dan Sartain, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Lez Zeppelin, Bo Bice, Black Devil Disco Club, and Dragonforce.
And although this has not been confirmed, one look at this line up will tell any roo vet that it is bullshit!"
