This godd**n list gets more ridiculous and hilarious every time I look at it. Kid Rock? If this was the real list, I'd ask that Superfly undergo psychiatric evaluation.
Well Kid Rock is touring with Dickey Betts and assorted others of Bonnaroo interest.
I did not know that. Very interesting. I stand corrected. Even so, I like Dickey, but I'm not sure if it's worth the Kid Rock trade off. He really annoys me.

I was thinking that either Skinny Puppy, Ministry or KMFDM would make an apperance at the roo and I got one right if this lineup is true (Ministry). But please, no lynyrd, kid rock, or eagles. Van Halen would be ok if they could get both Sammy and Dave up there and go through the whole catalog and take the whole 3 hour set.
I do like the idea of a possible Friday night with Marilyn Manson (Friday the 13th), The Mars Volta till 3 and then have Ministry play till the morning comes up. Personally that would be awesome.

while it would seem like the next logical step in the death of roo id have to bet a nut its total b.s. if this is the lineup then yall have a good time. ill catch the couple of decent acts somewhere else and avoid all of those sh!t shows. i cant believe no ones thrown out the lebowski quote yet. i need to go brush my teeth and get that pukey taste out of my mouth now
The dude:"Look man, Ive had a really long day, and I HATE the F-ing Eagles"

since sammy and dave are in the current tour together, it would be both i would suspect ... canx**

David Lee Roth is the only one touring with Van Halen currently.

I would be happy with that lineup if they were to replace the obvious bands that will not be at roo (Kid Rock, Lynyrd, and others), with bands that deserve to be at roo (name countless acts the people on these boards have suggested). Second of all they do no have an obvious, "oh my god", headliner like a Tool, Police, or Radiohead on this lineup (I do not call Van Halen or Eagles "oh my god" worthy).
But I do like seeing the fake lineups, that means we are coming close to an announcement

yeah...no way in hell would hagar and roth perform together
Actually they did do a tour together a few years back but it didn't include any other members of Van Halen.
we went to that show and i think it was cancelled after about the 4th show ...if i remember right, it was billed not as VH but hagar and roth and they played a lot of VH during a duel set ... canx**
and i like the eagles ..... put them and the other two headliners together, and they pay for your tic if you would go to see them locally in your area ... canx**

i like the eagles, i don't understand all the hate, to each his own, they were one of the first of the few bands i grew up listening to, i was reading about their history on wikipedia, i didn't realize don felder sued them in 2001 for wrongful termination and seeking $ 50 million, and in return henley and frey sued felder, wtf!, okay maybe i don't want them at bonnaroo as much as i thought, and i really don't care much for their new stuff, but as a group that i grew up on it'd be nice to see them before i die, but i think hearing songs like take it easy, peaceful easy feeling, already gone, james dean, take it to the limit, hotel california, and 7 bridges road would be cool, but i'd rather hear tom waits do 'ol 55

i like the eagles dont get my post wrong i just knew that the lebowski quote was coming. i would love to hear the eagles at roo but not in a headliner spot.
Yeah....personal taste aside...you people saying there's no headliners in that list are nuts....there's actually one too many.... Eagles, Van Halen, Coldplay and Zeppelin would all constitute headliner status....they all sell 50,000 plus tickets in whatever city they play in....they're all WAY bigger than Panic will ever be....actually...they're all bigger than Tool also....don't matter if you're not into them...they're clearly big enough to headline.
EDIT: Hey wow...look at that, it DOES say LEZ Zeppelin....my bad...still Coldplay, Eagles, VH are all huge.

zeppelin cant headline because they are a tribute band, LEZ zeppelin not the true zep
im not saying there isnt a headliner on there, just there isnt a headliner that i am FREAKING OUT AND DYING TO SEE, nah mean. mars volta is the closest thing to that for me and im inclined to believe they would be a latenight show
^^^just one thing how have you joined this month and already have a karma of 202, thats phenomenal
And I e-mailed bonnaroo about the lineup, and got a reply not 10 minutes later. Didn't really tell me anything, just said how its confirmed to take place june 12-15 and stay tuned for updates in the next few weeks. they couldve at least made it sound like a human, i bet it was just a computerized response
