Hold on! Before everyone lashes their tongue at me.
It's not that crazy of an idea. I do doubt that it would happen, but it could. Thrices last few CD's have had much more of a slower indie feel to them as opposed to the hard punk sound Thrice is known for.
And if anyone has heard their new CD The Alchemy Index did you like it? If you haven't, listen to it.
What would you think of Thrics on Bonnaroo? I'll probably hear alot of "NO"'s but give me your reasons why not?

the only punk band that will be at bonnaroo will probably be flogging molly...and that's irish punk...however, there is one punk band i would like to reunite - face to face...and, oh yeah...

got to see face to face several times in the late 90's very early 00's, thats pretty much the only punk band i was ever into, one of the most energetic shows i've ever seen, very rough crowd, the crowds at their shows were rougher than the times i saw bands like pantera, soulfly, disturbed, godsmack, korn, limp bizkit...yeah i know it was a mistake seeing some of those bands, i was young and stupid, didn't really have good taste in music at the time
I could see Coheed at Bonnaroo... Not that it's that relevant but they tend to be tossed into the same general genre, even though they have a very unique sound IMO - I used to like Thrice a lot (everything up to and including The Artist in the Ambulance) but wasn't really able to get into anything after that. But I'd probably check 'em out if they were there.
I think Coheed will be there. They're under Big Hassle's PR now, and they are the main media contact for Roo. They always have a great show (though I'm not too big of a fan of their new stuff).
I saw Coheed at Coachella and again (recently) at Waterloo. Not really my thing. They do have Chris Pennie (formerly of Dillinger Escape Plan) playing drums now, which is a definite plus.

true that, but bring on flogging molly, their songs are great for dancing and really get you moving, one time i was with my friends at my bedroom and i put on seven deadly sins and the place ended up practically trashed ;D

hey punk bands can play although i don't think of thrice as punk music. but rx bandits and cage the elephant both played last year and they're both punk bands and thats just off the top of my head.

I would honestly cry out of disgust of Coheed played. I met them out on their tour before and they are just ew. Plus the lead singer believes there is a prophecy written about the band..that there must be a certain number of CDs put out before the can call it quits.
And as much as I pathetically love Warped Tour/Bamboozle...shit like Thrice does not belong at Bonnaroo.
