I wonder what the possibility of Old Crow Medicine Show playing this year. I have been in a mood where 9 out of 10 times I am listening to those guys. I love their music, and I know they have played Roo in the past. Give us Old Crow Medicine Show!

from what i saw last year, they were good, as for the sound, they'd probably sound better in a tent, and also last year they were in a bad time slot, i went from the first couple songs of railroad earth, to a couple by dr. dog, over to old crow med. show, and then on to the rest of the slip, i love all those bands, but railroad earth not so much

I woke up early and hung out at the which stage for 2 and a half hours to be up front for old crow. The sound was awesome where I was standing. Id love for another roo dose of crow.

i wanted to check them out last year, but didn't make it. It was too early in the day for me, the sun was at it's hottest.
yeaaaahhhh it was at its hottest, i think it was that show alone that really allowed my body to reach crispy status. BUT totally worth it for the rocking bluegrass that ensued. It was my first dose of ocms and i'm looking forward to my second. I think ocms or ymsb should have a slot every year (excuse my lack of knowledge on the genre, i'm sure there are others that fall into that group too that should be there)
edit: and as for the sound, i was closer to the stage so i found no problems and didn't really take much notice as we left three-quarters through.

Strangely enough, I had not heard of Old Crow Medicine show until after Roo last year. I missed their show when they played. While leaving Roo tuned into Bonnaroo Radio I heard them and I instantly knew I missed a great show. I know 2 years in a row seems like a stretch, but I would love another chance to see them!

Got there a couple hours early to see em front row. Awesome time. Loved the encore w/ a cover of Lay Lady Lay.
>>On a side note, if anyone happens to be one of the 2 Utah girls I met while waiting for this show, please let me know your email again so I can send you those pictures I took! I lost the piece of paper I wrote it on and I've felt bad ever since
Old Crow Medicine Show was the second hottest show last year, first was John Butler Trio. It was a great show. The lead singer doesn't look like he matches his voice at all. I remember thinking that it was rather funny.
Close your eyes. Picture a convict. What's he wearing? Nothing special, baseball cap on backwards, baggy pants... he says something ordinary like... 'yo, thats shizzle.' Okay. Now slowly open your eyes again. Who are you picturing? A black man? Wrong. That was a white woman. Surprised? Well, shame on you.
first time I saw Old Crow was St. Pattys day '05 in a bar in Charlottesville, VA based soley on hearing them play "Wagon Wheel" on Conan and my friends and I were not disapointed.Tehy playd most of their self titled album and they even threw down a little irish ditty for the people.Once they kicked into wa everytime i see them i thin they're great
