TV on the Radio Latenight (PLEASE)

I just listened to rtcm again, and jeez. I really think this would be a latenight that could be on par with any of the legendary bonnaroo latenight shows. Heres hoping.

Having seen them, I know their stage presence and show would ROCK as a latenight... Agreed here

I really don't see how you could be underwhelmed by a TVOTR show. We all have our preferences though. I saw them earlier this year and it was one of the most electrifying performances I've ever seen. Late night would work great for them

I dunno about latenight. Maybe like a late THURSDAY night headliner type thing? Or an afternoon Which Stage set? I think either of those would be better for them.

^ yeah, I like them, but there are plenty of other bands I would rather see late night. They would be a good Thursday addition.

I can see feeling that way. The new direction they've taken since the NIN/Bauhaus tour isn't exactly my favorite. Before that, their shows had a more tribal dance feel to them. Now they sort of play more straight up rock.

I'd still recommend them to anyone who liked their album, but honestly, a TV on the Radio show four years ago was better than one last year...

they played lotsa older stuff when I saw them this year, it was sick.

A Thursday night show would be awesome. It kinda felt last year that the Thursday was being used as a test of new types of music (i.e. indie; The National, MuteMath *if you want to count them).

If you put TV on the Radio on Thursday, get Team Sleep to have a show as well and then throw Explosions in the Sky somewhere in there... then finish with some kind of electronic/techno djs OR STS9....
