It seems that with their long awaited new album coming out in 2008 and the fact that they are pretty much always on tour that they would be at Roo this year. What do you think?
If the words 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness' don't include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn't worth the hemp it was written on.

Wouldn't be surprised... it'd also be an opening for Jimmy Page to make a 'surprise' appearance prior to a Led Zepplin Superjam (they did a live album together back in 2000).

I think it's a good possibility, but...hold on to your hats...
I really don't like the Black Crowes live. I saw them in '06...it just bored me. The best thing they did was a COVER of Cripple Creek I just expected way way more out of them than what I got...

I've been wanting to see them since '91 when they canceled a show in Savannah I had been planning to go to. I wanted to go to All Good last year, mainly to see them, but couldn't make it.
Saw them last summer with the Drive by Truckers and Robert Randolph. Great line up, but I felt like I was one a few who was into RRFB. Crowes were great, got a kick out of how many pinch hits Chris Robinson did side stage during the show. I bet he did at least a couple dozen during the show. Jimmy Page with the Crowes would be a dream come true. The live album mentioned earlier is called "Live at the Greek" I still listen to it all the time. The Crowes are great fit at the Roo.
