Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This whole html thing is kinda strange, but my gut is telling me this might mean something. so far we've got:
Led Zeppelin Phish Pearl Jam Metallica Neil Young Daft Punk Jack Johnson The Roots B.B. King My Morning Jacket Les Claypool Pat Green
imo Led Zeppelin, Phish, and Pearl Jam all sound too good to be true for headliners. Unless this is the year Superfly decides to spoil us...? Bonnaroo is getting some competition with all these new festies popping up everywhere, ya know?
There is a least 5 or 6 bands on that list that would require a headlining spot. Maybe we get 2
Old: Wilco The Mars Volta moe. RR & Family Band Devendra Banhart Iron & Wine The Black Crowes Umphrey's Mcgee Claypool in any form (hunch on Primus) Los Lobos Buckethead Franti Son Volt Phil Lesh YMSB
Bonus 5: Trey Yo La Tengo Neil Young ABB Portishead
New Animal Collective Roger Waters Raconteurs Jake Shimbakuru The Shins Thievery Corporation Of Montreal Dinosaur Jr. Levon Helm Explosions In The Sky CAKE Vampire Weekend Band Of Horses Arcade Fire Martin Sexton
Bonus 5: Ryan Adams Clapton and Friends Sigur Ros Bjork Superjam:Thomas Pridgen, B.B. King, Claypool, Trey, Clapton, Waters, Herbie Hancock, with more guests flowing on and off as the night goes on
I think all these peeps have a decent chance of being on the bill:
Led Zeppelin My Morning Jacket Jack Johnson Mars Volta M. Ward Sigur Ros (late night - how amazing would that be?) The Shins Animal Collective Trey Anastasio in some incarnation Les Claypool in some incarnation Plant/Allison Krauss M.I.A. Sufjan Stevens

So we dont get Daft Punk instead, Cake.
Problem with theis line-up is that R.E.M only have Sunday open and I doubt they would close the festival out. They would play friday or saturday.
"We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, movie gods, and rock stars. But we wont, and we're slowly learning that fact & we're very, very pissed off......."
Lets just say its hecktic everywhere bonnaroo these days. bonnaroo.com In TN. Inforoo. (Long time lurker, love reading the posts on this board. Great stuff. Great People) I'm pretty sure Dick Tracey, Inspector Gadget, Sherlock Holmes, Sam Spade, Jim Rockford, Philip Marlowe, and P.I. Magnum are regular posters on inforoo...aka. would have been leaked eventually..

To be honest...I really like this lineup except for REM, but it looks like they will be in the northeast most of bonnaroo, so that pleases me....I like REM, but there are just so many other headliners for me.

^^^Tortoise is a really cool instrumental post-rock band. Their set last year was really cool, and you should check them out if they really are playing this year.
This lineup looks amazing and amazingly legitimate, but what about Pat Green? I thought he was for sure.
If Sigur Ros is really playing, I will melt into a warm puddle of happiness.

^^^Heh, I was being sarcastic about his misspelling, and by extent proof that this lineup is fake. I am a huge Tortoise fan, and was literally front and center for their set. But always glad to see another fan around here. Karma for that.
^ You were front and center for that also? Me and my friends were all in the front row near the center, so I probably saw you. We were there since before James Blood Ulmer.
Post by steveternal on Jan 30, 2008 23:50:07 GMT -5
^^^Yeah, me and my wife as well. We got there probably a half hour before his set, and there was an opening right there in the center of the fence, so we grabbed it. Ulmer was very good, but I was mainly there for Tortoise, my most anticipated set of the weekend. So yeah, I probably stood right next to you.
haha, i couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not. thanks for the karma! karma to you as well for the cool pic.
i have a good feeling that a lot of the bands on that supposed leak will end up on the bill. i'm getting really antsy to find out for sure. is feb. 6th really when we find out?
I think Ghostland and Jose Gonzalez should be added to the list of artists you cant use, even though I already cheated and added Ghostland. I can change it back if anyone cares.
Post by steveternal on Jan 31, 2008 13:23:28 GMT -5
^^^Well if you don't want others to use them, then you should probably drop them, yeah. Although it seems to me that hardly anyone is taking the game at all seriously.
