Well i'd just say i'd imagine that'd be well enjoyed by many. I could also say that i think it'd be even better if it were following a NIN headlining show.
I dont know about infected mushroom, i caught them at camp this year and i gotta say their front man was really bothering me ("I AM THE SUPERVISOR") its too much something i cant exactly put my finger on it but something was just off with them. maybe i was just a little too out of it but it was just way to fast, repetitive and uninspired for me. cool lights tho
Matisyahu jumped onstage with IM at the Virgin Festival in Baltimore. Duvdev and Erez (founding members of Infected Mushroom) told me that the Matisyahu five minute freestyle with them was the highlight of their year so far. (You can hear them talk about it in our interview)
I saw STS9 3 times this summer, and I gotta say that if you're gonna see them live... it should be at night. Day time STS9 just didn't give off the same energy as a late night Roo set.
my own fantasy would include a Pink Floyd reunion and late night sets by The Mars Volta, Opeth, Porcupine Tree and Tool...and daytime sets by Between the Buried and Me, Mastodon, Chris Carrabba acoustic...
hmm...throw in a Stone Temple Pilots reunion too, just for good measure.
And we need to ressurect a few zombie musicians. Frank Zappa, Layne Staley, Brad Nowell, John Lennon, Dimebag Darrell, Cliff Burton, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Jim Morrison, Nick Drake, Freddie Mercury and while we're at it, Fryderyk Chopin. That can be the Superjam lol.
I don't know what in the heck happened to Mastodon at Vegoose. It was like they were playing their first show! Their guitars wouldn't stay in tune, and they had to retune after every song. Even their singer said, "I hope that next time we have our sh!t together." Very disappointing since I was looking forward to some good metal at the Goose!
Some original one person Dashboard would be really cool. Carrabba's a great songwriter.

On a more likely note, i'd definitely take some Zappa Plays Zappa. Seems perfect to me.

Yeah I heard the Vegoose set wasnt very good. The one time I saw them, they blew my mind though.
And yeah, Chris is a really good songwriter. Most people only have hard the pop-rock sounding mtv/radio stuff though, so they talk a lot of smack =\
Hm, my dream would be a Floyd reunion, but a Roger Waters solo show would be great too. I wonder if Aussy Floyd could play, 'cause I'd still be ecstatic. I remember between sets at which stage last year, the DJ just had Comfortably Numb playing off a CD, and it drew in a huge crowd. Unfortunately, he turned it off right before the 2nd solo to a ton of boos. Bottom line, they need SOME kind of Floyd at 'Roo, I don't care if they just play a few CDs with an empty stage ;D
