I agree that they are enjoyable and energetic live... but I don't know about Bonnaroo, doesn't seem like their scene. But then again I heard them opening up for Dredg and I've been hoping for Dredg at Bonnaroo for years now...
i saw them live a few years ago. they were an opening band for minus the bear. live they weren't very good. their music is a lot of screaming. and thats not exactly my cup of tea. after the show i went online to find out a little more about them. they are a Christian band from Philadelphia. and actually, i ended up listening to their music and buying their album. they turned out to be not that bad. i'm not sure how they would do at bonnaroo. people would either love them or hate them i think.
They've played Christian music festivals, and are on Tooth & Nail records, but I wouldnt really call their music "Christian". When I think of "Christian" music, I think Amy Grant or Michael W. Smith.
I'd say mewithoutYou is along the same lines as Mute Math regarding their influence of spiritual beliefs in their music.
Honestly, I find their music hard to just sit down and listen to. Its their energy that draws me to them. Its definitely a love or hate relationship you will have with them.
well, you ask me why i'm drunk all the time it levels my head and eases my mind i just walk along and stroll and sing i see better days and i do better things
