Did anyone see these guys? I have not heard of anyone catching these guys yet and am very curious as to how the set went, and hopefully find a good recording of it.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

Due to all the hype that was surrounding their show and how crowded the Jazz Tent was just for Stanton Moore Trio I decided to miss it because I didn't wanna deal with the masses at the time.
Sadly, missed it. Between the capacity of the jazz tent and the fact that the Flaming Lips were changing my life at that moment, I decided not to try. Hopefully they come back soon and play in a tent.

it was AMAAAZING!!!! an unexpected highlight for me. I especially enjoyed ?uestlove's extended solo, in which he stepped off the stage and wove his way through about half the venue...the rhythm seeming to lead his drumsticks seamlessly from surface to surface to surface—be that surface a table, the back of a chair, or even, at one point, a poor helpless beach ball.

I managed to get into the Stanton Moore Trio, and Mago. I was planning on seeing these guys, but Galactic was just blowing me away and I never left that area of the festival.
Hopefully a torent will rise from the ashes of the Somethin' Else tent.
