Hey everyone! I'm a desperate newbie looking for Kings of Leon stuff on Bonnaroo 2007. The band performed yesterday and I couldn't watch by any site or whatever. So please if you have something related with the band like links of reviews, pictures or videos I really appreciate ;D
ps. Is this the correct place for my post? I'm kind of lost...

bonnaroo.com has some picture of the set. you missed out, it was phenominal. definately in the top 5 of the weekend. power went out for half of a song in the middle of their set, but besides that it was flawless. the rocked out.
I have to say that when the power went out these guys proved they are hardcord awesome rock stars. All the power to the amps goes out, there is zero amplification, and they just keep playing, but they start HAMMERING on their instruments and YELLING out the song. I thought the drummer was gonna bust a stick. I was a good ways back and I STILL could hear even the guitarist. They didnt even miss a beat. The crowd went f'in CRAZY and I was totally impressed. No novices here. These guys do a great show.
And mind you, I actually am not a fan. They are great at what they do but I am just not wild about it, but I thought they really rocked something serious in this gig.
But I've heard voices not in the head Out in the air they called ahead Through ripped out speakers Through thick and thin They found a shelter Under my skin -Evgeny Aleksandrovitch Nikolaev

I am a huge Kings of Leon fan, and I must admit... this show was sub par. The setlist could've been much better, there was no crowd interaction, and their sound crew has screwed up every year they play at the Roo. It was an enjoyable concert, but it ranks at the bottom of the list that I saw at the festival.
Solid show, but they're in DESPERATE need of a setlist shakeup. I've seen them half a dozen or so times over the past few years (from clubs on to Roo) and they have ALWAYS closed with "Trani" and never really mix anything up. It seems like setlists remain nearly concrete for full tours. One of my favorite bands, so in that regard, I was a little disappointed.

Very much agreed here. The setlists need to change from show to show. A little disappointed in their performance this weekend, but had I not seen them on this tour, I think I would've liked it better... The new material sounded great in a bigger environment though
It was my first time seeing KOL and I thought it was incredible. I was very happy with the setlist, but again, it was my first time seeing them live. I can understand the KOL veterans' problems with the setlists though. I was telling my boyfriend what they played and he said that with the exception of the new songs, it was all pretty much the same as when he saw them in 2005.
in the middle of the page in small letter it says download here, click it and save it, its a pro shot video of theyr entire set, volume is a little low but otherwise great graet quality, im watching it right now. i really cant wait to get the audio from this set so i can listen to it in my car.
p.s has anyone seen the audio of this set anywhere on the internet yet?

First time seeing KOL...I was up very close, and really wasn't all that impressed. I still love their albums and will continue to buy and listen to them, but I don't think I'll go much out of my way to see then live.
Just my opinion, but there wasn't much energy coming from them from the stage.
KOL was my must-see band this year, but I was so hot and over-sunned that I ended up listening to them from camp. I knew that they weren't high-energy performers and just hoped I wasn't missing anything good. I loved how they sounded at my tent. I was cracking up when they played "Charmer" - I'm sure those who weren't prepared wondered what the hell he was screaming at.

I'm going to check the pictures there, thanks! I got much stuff of bonnaroo during these days. I wish could be there but unfortunatelly I'm living in other country... Brazil haha

Wait a minute, I have the mp3s (They aren't mine but I can figure out the link to download) - hold on!

Well, the setlist needs an up but now they have three records and I hope they'll changing the setlist a bit. I guess they've always close with trani because everyone asks for that music haha. I just wish more musics coming of the new record - because of the times. But so far so good!
and actually you have to have a multiply account hehe but it's pretty simple ;D the quality is good, ok. There's musics which need a part hehe but it's better than nothing right?

That show was my #5 favorite of the weekend....the may need to get more creative with their setlists but they have made incredible improvements in the last couple of years as a band.....their stage presence is 300% better.
