I saw Wilco at bonnaroo '04, without knowing a single tune by them. I did not rush out to buy their cd's, but I ended up checking out Yankee Hotel Foxtrot eventually and loved it. I actually remembered hearing Jesus etc...
Now I am excited to see them again. Wasnt too thrilled with what I had heard off of Sky blue Sky ( walken, hate it here) but I bought the alblum anyways, and the rest of the cd is great.
What tunes is everyone hoping to hear?
Id love:
Jesus etc... radio cure far, far away impossible germany hummingbird theologins
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio." -Hunter S. Thompson
I'm really hoping they play some of their more rocking tunes. I love "Monday" but they only seem to play that when they are actually in Florida anymore. "I've Got You" would be awesome.
And as always, I'll be hoping against hope that they play "Dreamer In My Dreams". That is their best song, and when I saw Jeff Tweedy solo and got to request a song, I requested that one.

I would love to hear that live! I'm expecting a Kicking Television like mix with some SBS - (Impossible Germany, Side with the Seeds, What Light, Sky Blue Sky) I hope they pull out some older tunes from Being There or AM.
Some of the recent Loose Fur songs are great too: Wreckroom, The Ruling Class - Does Wilco ever do these? Anyone heard anything about their recent shows?

The last Loose Fur song wilco did was "Not For The Season/Laminated Cat" and that was around 02/03.
I did read somewhere that Jeff said they planned on playing less of their quieter stuff in the festivals this year. I'd say "I am trying to break Your Heart", "Kingpin", and "I'm The Man Who Loves You" are probably garauntees.
