I really hope they play "The Pot", when I saw them in Chicago this past fall, Maynard said that the doctor had told him to stop singing it, cause it was too hard on his voice. Then he said fark it and sang it anyways...
if you want to "get" tool you could start by reading nothing in this book is true but its exactly the way things are by bob frissel. hehe not that the book answers any questions you may have but it introduces you to questions you may not have yet asked
I went to the Tool show in Baltimore, MD last Friday. I was blown away! The last time I saw them was at Lollapolooza in 94 and they have come a long way. First, the sound was so loud that I was not able to hear to well after the show. Second, the light/laser show was one of the best I have ever seen. The only other band I have seen that had a better laser show was Pink Foyd in 1994. My buddy who went with me told me that Phish was better, but I would not know since I have never seen Phish. I was blown away with all the lasers flying around. I cannot wait to see how well it looks outside at Roo. In regards to the music, the band is so freaking tight. They played for two hours so I am expecting some different since they are playing for an additional 30 minutes at Roo. Hopefully, that means that No Quarter will be played with John Paul Jones. Overrall, any fan of music will be very pleased with the performance and I reccomend that nobody misses this show.
