I'm sad to miss Regina Spektor - she's one of my absolute favorites, saw her here in Boston last year and she was wonderful - but she can't compete with Gogol Bordello!!
^^^ First time I saw them (when the pic above was taken) was opening for Flogging Molly...one of the all time top ten shows I've ever been to (and through work I've seen over 1,000 bands).
Gogol is amazing...I'd love to see Flogging at Roo next year.

Just so you know... "start wearing purple" is an insult. Apparently, when the lead singer was living in an apartment with his girlfriend, they had a crazy old lady neighbor who wore nothing but purple... After they broke up, he wrote the song .. basically meaning "you're f-ing nuts, girl!"
But yea, I love Gogol Bordello and G.B v. regina spektor is going to be a tough choice.

If you would have asked me a few weeks ago, I would have been at Regina Spektor. But after looking up Gogol Bordello's live show on Youtube? There's really no contest. I'll be front and center for the gypsies this time.

Lead singer reminds me of Borat, but I can hear the Adam Sandler doing "the Goat".
I'll probably catch the show just to see the spectacle. They seem pretty wild and original. A good mix for rock and roll.

Everybody who saw gogol bordello over bjork at coachella didnt regret it, Isaw Bjork but wont miss them this time. I will be there up close if he goes crowd surfing on the bass drum again.
I can't wait to see them! Besides their fun Ukrainian gypsy punk (or whatever it is) music, Eugene Hutz was awesome in 'Everything is Illuminated' and cute too! ;D
