Ah..On call. The worst song on the new album and its the damn single. What the hell..... they did this with "bucket" on Aha Shake Heartbreak. Still one of my favorite new bands, just a bad first single choice (again!) in my opinon.

I humbly disagree here. I think "On Call" is the best pure pop song KoL has ever written, and thus a great single choice. I didn't necessarily enjoy it as much as I do now after the first listen or anything, but it is a REALLY good song, especially if you try to think of it in terms of the context of the album and the direction the Kings are taking (a much more mature sound, both lyrically and musically)
I agree that On Call is certainly not the best song on the new album, but its definitely not the worst. The Bucket is a great song by the way. Just b/c it has a poppy melody doesn't make it a bad song. I don't think they had a very good mix on Conan. You couldn't hear guitar well at all. I had just seen them in Atlanta at the Tabernacle and believe me, they are worth seeing.
Nothing bad at all w/ pop songs and what not, I just don't like the on call or the bucket.Does anybody know what the next single will be?? I'm guessing fans.....damn good song. I've seen KOL three times and they got better and better each time, but some of my friends were at the Tabernacle show as well and they didn't like that show as much as the others ones we've been to. I wasn't there so I dunno...I just hope they kickass at 'Roo!
I've heard rumors that My Party is going to be a single, though I think it makes sense for them to take one of the jammed out, slower songs as their next single, like Fans or Arizona.
