I think a couple of our local bands, who are starting to become known nation wide, should be in attendance to play.
Wookiefoot Trampled By Turtles The Big Wu
Also, I think Xavier Rudd should come back again and again. Disco Biscuits, Moe., Keller, Ween, The Cheese again even though they aren't going to be together after this year, G Love should come back, Serena Ryder would be cool to see, ummmm yeah and everybody else
In all honesty, I think it may go something like this:
Headliners:
Coldplay (would be great, new album on the way too)
Dave Matthews Band (many people dislike em but we need a new jam band (even if they'll played before once)
R.E.M.
Others :
Robert Randolph and the Family Band Umphrey's McGee Dark Star Orchestra Moe. Praxis Primus My Morning Jacket Yonder Mountain String Band The Meters George Clinton and P-Funks the Arcade Fire Daft Punk John Mayer Stephen Marley

i cannot overstate my case for 311--- they put on an amazing show that would be incredible for midnight spot or a pre-headliner spot- anyone who has been to a 311 show would agree I'm sure
LCD is amazing live and would be sick for a nightshow- james murphy is the man
Oh my roo, heeeelllllll yeah! Karma to you! I saw this thread and immediately thought 311. i can't count how many conversations i've had with various people about why the hell they haven't been at 'roo!
Mine would be:
311 Keller Williams Galactic Buckethead and or Praxis Rage Against the Machine Trey Moe. MMW The Strokes Cake LCD Soundsystem Dave Matthews Band The Streets Gorillaz Jack Johnson Robert Randolph and the Family Band Ween Sigor Ros The Almand Brothers Band Phish Reunion Ben Harper Les Claypool Umphrey's Fiona Apple Damien Rice Ani Difranco Allison Krauss King Crimson Xavier Rudd Yonder Mountain String Band Dread Clampett Rollin' in the Hay That 1 Guy
Those are in no particular order and can not be all of them.... just what came to me immediately.
The Wood Brothers Jack Johnson.. supposedly going to start touring again in 2008 Donovan Frankenreiter Old Crow Medicine Show Matisyahu Pearl Jam (headlining) The Keller Williams Incident (with String Cheese) Norah Jones Counting Crows
Unlikely, but would be kick-ass if all those acts were booked!
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.
Pearl Jam! The Shins Beck Jack Johnson Bright Eyes Mason Jennings Ben Kweller Neil Young MMJ Les Claypool (Primus) moe. G. Love Old 97's The Strokes Toubab Krewe The Walkmen Polyphonic Spree Hold Steady Mountain Goats Keller (by himself) Ben Harper (Ben/Jack/G. Love Jam!)
Naw, don't be sorry man. No big deal. It's an automatic filter that looks for certain words that we have all come to know and love!!! It adds to the ambiance!
I want to know why the Features have never played.
Agreed. They are a local TN act with a lot of potential. If only they could get a wider audience. Maybe opening for KoL again will help. I hope so cause they play their booties off.
