So I have read a couple threads where people are trashing Panic! What's up with that? These guys are road warriors that have paid there dues for over 15 years touring. I remember seeing them in Va Tech with 50 people attending the concert and they jammed like it was 30,000 people.
JB is an amazing musician. They play there asses off. Anyway I will be tailgating Sunday night for the big bang.
Any other Panic fans out there want to do a little "pregame" let me know. We are going to have an incredible time.

can't say ill pregame with ya but I am more then pumped for WSP. They are the second band I am there to see after SCI and I will be goin nuts up front and center. If I hear Climb to Saftey, Fishing, Sparks Fly or.,..hell..when I hear Widespread come out and hit their first notes I will be going crazy...bring on WSP!!!
Hopefully I become a fan after Sunday, Bonnaroo will be really my first taste of them. Any wanna suggest some links to good live recordings or bootlegs? Even videos? I'm just looking to get prepared.

You can go to Widespreadpanic.com to download some of the latest shows with Jimmy at guitar. Wasn't the biggest George fan and he is in the latest cd and video releases.
The dvd "Earth to Atlanta" is pretty good if you want to see the latest Panic has to offer, again w/out Jimmy.
I am also stoked about seeing SCI. I am looking forward what Sunday has on the plate!

this tour with jimmy was my first and i ve seen 4 shows since he's joined. i was at birmingham, new years, and orange beach. all were awesome shows but this is gonna top them all. panic crowds are the craziest and have the most energy of any ive seen. i cant wait to see what happens when you mix that with the bonnaroo energy, its gonna be insane.
I've never been more disgusted at a festival, than at the first Bonnaroo. The amount of trash talking about Panic (specifically by SCI fans) was just mind-boggling.
We're all here for the music (or most of us, at least), & I think it's completely uncalled for. Personally, I can't stand SCI, but I don't trash talk them. A lot of folks like them. Fine. I don't. We can agree to disagree, end of story.

I've never understood rivalries between fans of different bands. The only time it matters which band is "better" is when two bands are playing at the same time. In that case, I'd prefer you go see the band that I decide against, because that leaves more room for me.
Otherwise, it's a waste of time and energy to argue over something that is so trivial.

I am glad for this thread... I feel like I have seen a TON of Panic bashing on this board and I just dont understand... I mean if you dont like them fine, but some pople do and why even waste your time writing about a band you dont even like or plan on seeing?? I mean I am not a fan of Tool at all in any way, shape, or form, but I have not said the first negative thing about them because so many people are happy and excited and big fans and all that... and quite frankly I really dont have time to post about Tool or any other band that I dont care about
