he was there last year... not playing but just chillin... I had just seen him spin with AK1200, Dara, and Dieselboy at POTD a month before I met him at bonnaroo, and now I know him through a mutual friend, and im driving him to a show in Syracuse this july...
I wish they would have a tent for DNB there, but the arcade tent will probably be the closest we will get to that... and STS9 has some DNB-esque songs...
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio." -Hunter S. Thompson

I wouldn't count on it this late in the game. We've only got a few additions left. I agree. It would be great to get LTJ or Dieselboy but, I don't think it's going to happen this time around. Maybe next year.

Hell yea! I'm so happy to see this thread. I love love LOVE dnb. I'll get my dose memorial day weekend at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival but oh how I wish they had some at Roo.
Karma to you Sparklybecca. I don't know how it is in NYC but its so freakin rare to see girls that like dnb in Detroit.
I get the feeling that LTJ Bukem is maybe "too big" an electronic artist for roo... But then again they did get DJ Shadow, so who knows... I'm all for some more electro, drumnbass in 08, though...

Some may argue sasha/digweed is bigger than LTJ...
alls good 08-09-10 if the organisers book them for any future Roo's I'm there
that whole Progression Sessions and musical messages vibe on an open field would be killer we had em here @ a tunnel next to the beach like 7 years ago they played till teh sun rose if anyone wants teh 3 hour set pm me and i'llgive u som links
here are some piks of the venue they played inside the tunnel
I'll still check out sasha and digweed this year...much better than sasha alone!
I feel you but in my case they come to PR like twice a year so I think I'll check some other stuff thats virgin to my ears if ya know what I mean to many things going on that i never get to hear or see down here.
It's not DnB but, my ultimate wish is a Boards Of Canada show at Roo!
im with you all the way on this, its so rare that they put on shows though
i would love to see The Bays added, that would be sick everyone should check them out if they dont know them, they have all there sbds for free dl on their site www.thebays.com/
as for as the electronica goes at roo, im rreall really looking forward to EOTO

I would like some drum'n'bass, or just more electronica in general. Boards Of Canada would be awesome. I would really like to see some dub artists added. High Tone, Dub Syndicate, Brain Damage...ah man that'd be nice.
well, you ask me why i'm drunk all the time it levels my head and eases my mind i just walk along and stroll and sing i see better days and i do better things

nice thread. LTJ Bukem is nowhere as big as sasha or digweed. But, LTJ Bukem is one of my favortites of all time and would bring it . Sasha/Digweed is more trancey techno while LTJ bring the earthy DnB.

I missed seeing Pendulum at Coachella this year, because it was a late edition and did not know about it in the globe. I also didn't realize how awesome justice is live and missed that at Coachella this year. Hopefully they will have something kool at Bonnaroo. If you haven't heard Justice, its pretty dark electronic. Apparently theyt were this years Daft Punk at coachella. Actually here is justice opening at coachella. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5923903690104298868&hl=en
