I'd really assume that it's simply Galactic and nothing else. His website says he is only playing with Galactic at Bonnaroo. He has a good number of side projects that he is involved in. He plays with Galactic obviously, then he also has a solo carreer of his own (consisting of himself, guitarist Charlie Hunter and saxophonist Skerik) in which he has released 3 solo albums. He also plays with Garage a Trois (consisting of Moore, Hunter, Skerik, and percussionist Mike Dillon) in which they have released 3 albums as well. Moore is a fantastic drummer, great energy at his shows, and he is really the driving force of Galactic.
"That's the big thing about education. People can be book smart, but not really intelligent about anything else. A lot of times they just taking in all this information and regurgitate it. It's much more important to process it and personalize it. To apply it to your world, to your life. You have to walk the walk, or you can't really report about it honestly."

since he played with coc, i would bet he guests with clutch
Not to discount Moore by any means, but Jean-Paul Gaster can hold his own with most any drummer out there (wait and see, drum solos galore at C! shows), so there prolly wont be a collaboration there.....also, Clutch has toured with COC, but not enough to have a member guest with them, and besides that, Moore only played drums on the album, he wasnt a touring member.

you don't have to tell me, i'm a big clutch fan. i listened to stanton's version of when the levee breaks on his myspace. that would be awesome if he played that with clutch.
sorry i didn't see this thread when i started my own
i emailed will bernard who has been gigging a lot recently with Stanton Moore Trio. will confirmed he will be there with the trio. not sure if robert walter will be on keys (he has been off and on with the trio).

Galactic played When the Levee breaks at Jazz Fest last year, was quite impressive. No vocals, just instrumental, but damn they jammed that like I had never heard.
I saw the Trio in Annapolis and they will sick! If they play then it will be a treat for all who see them. In regards to COC, I can tell you that they will not playing at the show. Pepper Keenan does not plan on playing with them anytime soon. He was really unhappy with the last record and is focusing on DOWN with Phil from Pantera. By the way, they rock if anyone is interested in listening to them. COC is done for the near future.
Pepper is an amazing guitar player, but prefers to play harder music. If you are fan, then you should check this band out. They are metal, but they are more muddy and have a groove to them. I have seen them twice and they rocked! The lead singer is Philip Anselmo who was the lead singer of Pantera.
