I love them both, too. RATM kills in concert. I haven't seen RYG because they cancelled their nashville show because of immigration problems. Can't wait to see them at roo!

..and you thought Coachella was just for hip youngsters who thought that music began with Rage Against The Machine?
I am so pumped about their set at Roo...
This reminds me of a rather humorous encounter with a pretentious old "musician" I met last year at a bar I frequent. The guy played in some terrible cover band and announced Rockin In The Free World as a "tune you youngsters never heard". This particularly burned my ass because I grew up on Neil Young, and have been to over a dozen shows of his over the years. Being the prick that I am, I engaged him after his "show". Asking him simple things like his favorite Neil albums ("I don't know names") and a bunch of other questions. The best was when I asked him his thoughts on John Mclaughlin to which he replied "I don't really listen to new music, just stuff before your time".
Sorry for the rant. It just annoys the hell out of me when I meet older folks who think people my age (22) never heard anything before the 90s.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!
