I saw Matthew McConaughey at Austin City Limits last year, fuckin' drunk and high as hell, he's a hippie, just like in Dazed and Confused, just like it

This reminds me of last year at MMJ, when they brought out this guitar player from Louisville to play on a couple songs...From my perspective (warped) the guy looked exactly like Jim Carey with a beard. So I turn to my wife between songs and I'm like "I don't think anyone else realizes that Jim Carey is up there rocking out with MMJ, but I know it's him." I think she laughed at me. I was so sure of it, but after I came back to Earth I realized...no. Thats the closest to seeing a celebrity at Roo for me.

It is funny..I was just talking to my hubby about if he thought famous people (besides the artists playing) would go to music festivals like these. I too am pretty oblivious and would probably not notice anybody famous... Although I think I would be able to spot Matthew McConaughey and would not mind hanging with him for awhile!

I ran into Mike Gordon last year while catching Bright Eyes, or Death Cab. I can't rember.
It was silly, I saw him and as if I knew him, nodded "Hi" and kept on walkin around.
I did that once before in an airport in LA. I saw this guy asked if I knew him, nope he was Jay Underwood from the movie " Boy who could fly. I told him, " Sorry, I thought you were one of my sisters friends back home in Indiana. " He got a laugh from it.
