Saturday: Damien Rice/ The Hold Steady/ Xavier Rudd.... Ben Harper/Keller Williams/Franz Ferdinand I have to say that I'm pulling against your scedule here haha
Something to ponder: if the Lips got the Which Stage instead of a tent for Saturday night, that would make room for an additional Saturday late night show. Maybe Gogol Bordello or Wild Magnolia Mardi Gras Indians? I'd be interested in hearing what you guys think -

yea, i already posted that idea. i think they will be late night either way.
As much as it would be a dream come true, I'd be shocked if Tool played for 3 hours; I essentially see them as last year's Radiohead; which did a 2.5-hour set, their longest ever.
Tool is not a jam band, and all of their sets this tour have been approximately 1hour 40 min., so I can't see them for going for longer than 2.5 hours at the most.

i could see old crow on which stage at 12:45, then someone else-maybe spoon or regina spektor, then damien rice, then franz ferdinand, and hopefully F-Lips late night which stage like trey
I think the Black Keys will be on the main stage opening for Tool. Keep it heavy for both.
I think The Roots might have the late night instead of String Cheese (though you said you weren't sold on SCI, so that's cool)
On Thursday I see The National getting a later and longer set (definitely not before Annuals) especially coming off of opening for Arcade Fire and having a new album that's getting a lot of buzz
On Sunday I would switch Ornette Coleman and NMAS
And I see Fountains of Wayne not as a second stage band but a tent act, but I could be wrong there
I think they are alot bigger on the east coast then they are on the west coast being from Ohio...if that makes sense. Just more exposure in Oh, WV, PA, Ny
whoa, if that were to turn out to be right, I would be in quite a jam... a 5-way conflict! Ween - Ben Harper - Keller Williams - Galactic - Franz Ferdinand. I really doubt that would happen, but man that would suck! I especially want to see Keller Williams and Ween. Ornette Coleman/New Orleans Klezmer Band and Wilco/The Decemberists overlapping would be problems too. I REALLY doubt Wilco would overlap with the Decemberists though. That seems like a lot of the same fanbase.
thanks gouge - I don't know what to make of Fri night - I know attornaroo is leaning towards Manu Chao, and lot of people are saying the Roots, and some SCI. I just more or less picked one, but I could see dozens of different scenarios playing out for Friday.
it could also be someone that hasn't been announced.
I'm thinkin either Mars Volta or Umphreys announced for late night Fri
