Yes... well, since a reanimated Carl Sagan did a guest spot with G. Love & Special Sauce in '03, jamming on the jaw harp and ranting about aliens. It rocked. If I can find a bootleg of that set, I'll let you know.
I'm listening to the album now... it's pretty good (odd that it won a Pulitzer though...). I'm excited about seeing him. Seems odd that not many people here seemed that excited about it. I mean, the guy influenced some of the jazz greats!
