last year sasha didn't even start till like 2 or 3 am
3:30 to be exact...probably works out well that way, since they're both english and starting at 3am is equivalent to 8am on their time
i have no reason to believe after last year's success that S&D will start any earlier then 3am. there might be a little overlap between mule and them, but i don't expect a full-on scheduling conflict.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

No way Mule plays the Which Stage late night. Only way that happens is one of two ways:
Mule has some big guests, and the Flaming Lips play daytime. The Flaming Lips would get the Which Stage before Mule.
or...
The Lips do play late night as well, and Mule has a HUGE guest. And by huge I am talking at least the size of a BB King, Robert Plant, etc. And the guest would also have to be well advertised before the show.
Mule will kick ass late night for sure, but it will most definately be in a tent.
I would rather see Mule in a tent, I was just going on the fact that they usually play the What Stage, dont see them moving to a tent show. Like the Primus in 2004 and Trey in 05. The last Mule show at Roo was great hopefully this one is better.
Mule will probably play right after the Police, late night Which Stage show maybe.
im not super-knowledgeable on the subject, but it doesn't appear that they schedule late nights on the stages that often. there was 0 late nights on either stage in '06, in '05 it was just trey, and i cant find schedules for years earlier. any vets chime in?

Yeah, but after last year with MMJ and the Superjam both being in tents, Mule will definately be in one as well.
Mule will play a late night tent And Sasha and Digweed will play the late, late night. They will both be dirty, I guarantee it. Bout to be a six year vet so take this to the bank.
last year Sasha started at 3:30 and It ended as the sun was risin at 6:45 bright and early and funky as it wanted to be.
Does anyone else have Bonnaroo Late Night Dance Party Fever!!!

We aren't sure of anything. However, I would greatly appreciate a late night Flips set. From what I've seen at their shows, darkness works well with their set.
Are we sure Flaming Lips will be late night? I have doubts. I see them as an evening set.
Nothing is set in stone until the schedule is out. Last year www.trey.com had Oysterhead playing on 6/17/06 for months leading into Bonnaroo, and changed it in May to 6/16/06, they day they actually did play.
There are 2 trains of thought on The Flaming Lips, imo. The First Train of thought, which is my wife's train of thought, is that The Flaming Lips work best in the context of late night. We both saw them at Roo 2003, and I would tend to agree with her that that is the best fit.
The other train of thought, which is more what I am leaning to right now, is that The Flaming Lips have already played a late night slot in their one and only performance, so they may leave it open for a new band who hasn't played late night. Of course that train of thought is flawed, seeing as how Umphrey's, STS9 and Galactic have all played late night twice .
So basically what I'm saying is no one knows. We can speculate all we want but everything is subject to change until that schedule is up on Bonnaroo.com.
Here's what I'm thinking right now for the late night schedule:
Friday Late
This The Roots That Gogol Bordello/Manu Chao The Other STS9
Saturday
This Gov't Mule That Galactic + Hip Hop Superjam The Other The Flaming Lips/ Girl Talk / Sasha and Digweed
if the other tent goes as you state it on saturday night that would absolutely blow my mind. that would be one hell of a late night. definately have to check out the mule after the FLips though. manu chao would be cool for late night. i like what ive heard so im getting excited about them. i still hope sci is late night. at least a kwi.
