I read that there would be 100+ bands and with the new addition of cafe artists the list has topped 116 artists (cafe and comedians included).

So can this mean no more artist additions?

Nobody really knows. I think there's been debate as to whether the 100+ includes the cafe acts or not.

I wouldn't hold out much hope for the Allman Brothers. Derek Trucks will be on tour with his wife during roo.

I really do wonder if Bonnaroodetective finding the lineup before it was announced had something to do with all the artists on the intiial.....or maybe they were planning on having that many in the first place?

I thought about this too ^^ only because of the "addition" of the Roots, so maybe there were other bands that they let go too early also.

Yeah, Cafe acts don't really count when they say 100+ acts as they counted last year's total as being 80+ even though there were well over 100. So that means, if you're taking them seriously, they have 15-20 main stage acts left to announce. My guess is that there are a couple reasons for the increase this year:
1) They expanded late nights and Thursday.
2) There are a ton of collaborative sets this year, and they might be billing individual acts (like Aesop Rock or El-P) who will in fact be performing with another band or dj instead of headlining their own set.
