Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
It occured to me the other day that I have seen all three of this years headliner''s. Widespread; Jazzfest 2003 and Bonnaroo 2005, Tool; Voodoofest 2001, and The Police; Lakeland Civic Center, Ghost in the Machine Tour and Tangerine Bowl on the Synchronicity tour.
for a lot of reasons (differences in genres, differences in time periods) i'm going to guess that you are in the minority. though WSP seems to play every festival on this planet, i can't imagine theres a lot of fan crossover between tool and the police.
more power to anyone who has seen 'em all of course.
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!
Panic- Five times Tool- Once, but it was in a club in Nashville on my 20th birthday on the Undertow tour (1994). Five feet in front of Maynard is a great place to experience Tool.
Never saw The Police but Mom was a huge fan so I of course became a huge fan. This is one band I believed would never get back together.

I am definantly one of the crossover fans of both Tool and The Police. The Police are one of my top 3 favorite bands of all time (w/ The Who and Led Zeppelin all battling for supremacy).....and Tool is my favorite 'heavy' band of all time. Also, White Stripes are my favorite 'indie' band of all time. So this Bonnaroo is like dying and going to heaven for me!
WSP @ Roo in '05 Tool at Coachella in '06 The Police at The Roundhouse, Camden Town (London) in 1978
ccrgmac,
You rock! Not only did you see the Police, but in a small venue in London when they were just breaking. I had a chance to see them on there first U.S. tour that year, but I didn't go. I've always regretted it.
Anybody else seen all three?......... Bueller? Bueller?
I have to say. I think this years set of headliners is the best and most diverse in Bonnaroo history.
