I emailed Explosions in the Sky's management about the possibility of them as a Bonnaroo addition and got this reply:

Hi Chandler,

Sorry, Explosions are not scheduled to play Bonnaroo. They'll be playing
lots of festivals this summer but unforunately Bonnaroo isn't one of them!

Crushing disappointment, but there is already so much good stuff this year, at least it eliminates a possible conflict.

i too e-mailed but never heard back. I think there may have even been some begging involved in mine. But this is some tragic news. Anyone catch them in NYC this past tour, it was a hell of a show.
