I thought I had read on here a few times that Randolph has said he will definitly be there. Has it been confirmed that the Family Band wont be playing, but Robert will be there in some capacity?

Yea, someone with RRFB's booking agent has confirmed that RRFB will not be there, but guest appearences were possible. Robert's been telling people he's going to be there, so I'm banking on him guesting with NMAS and maybe Widespread.
I believe Pete Yorn, Dubconscious, Fiction Plane, Dave Barnes and Rocco Deluca & the Burden have all been unofficially confirmed. Favourite Sons have been added without announcement.
Rumors have strongly suggested Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Robert Randolph will both be there in some form shape or fashion. I have heard nothing about Page McConnell other than his open dates are highly suggestive.
And I would take management denials with a grain of salt because major acts aren't always at liberty to spill the beans. That is to say, groups have denied rumors of Bonnaroo in the past and have ended up there anyway.

^Yup. Someone e-mailed Trey's people and they said he had no plans of playing Bonnaroo this year. MMJ said they hate to miss it, but they are taking the year off to relax and write new material. RRFB will most likely not make an appearance, but Robert Randolph will show up as a special guest or maybe even a Superjam act this year. He has hinted more than once that he will be present this year, but as of now it doesn't look like his band will be there with him.

i have a theory about rr. i think he's just wicked pumped to not play this eyar cuz he finally gets to just go and enjoy the music that he keeps mentioning it. he'll prlly participate in the superjam though

Yeah I think that is the most likely situation. He's been there every year and although he wants to chill and see the music, he'd probably feel odd about not playing there.
