Surprised I haven't heard more requests for this... but damn if Amy Winehouse (w/ the Dap Kings backing her) wouldn't make the illest late-night ever. Add in Sharon Jones and we'd be on fire...

Soul at any time would be awesome. I think AC/Superfly has that covered with Mavis Staples, though.

Mavis is amazing! "Piece of the Action" is a really good place to start! She also did a few records on Prince's "Paisley Park" label in the early 90s that are pretty f*cking good! She's like a female Al Green or something! She's one of the (undoubtedly) daytime shows that I'm counting as "must see" at Roo this year! You should check her out! You won't be disappointed! Between Staples and Ryan Shaw I'd say Bonnaroo's doing mighty fine with the soul aspect.

I'm going to get on this. My dad just got Sirius Sat. Radio in his car and there's a kick ass soul station. Maybe I've heard some of her stuff and I don't even know it yet......

Amy Winehouse is good, but Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings are the real deal. And totally professional. I'm slightly shocked she hasn't been added to Bonnaroo yet. They definitely need to have a Dap-Tones Soul Revue late night.
