Heard about this guy when I caught his Comedy Central special, then went out and got his Live at the El Ray DVD and was hooked. I don't know if any of you have ever heard of Lynch, but his comedy is great. Plays guitar and sings hilarious songs. I think he'd be a great addition to the comedy tent!
Stepen Lynch singing Best Friends Song
Stephen Lynch - D&D
Stephen Lynch - Superhero (lengthy, but well worth it)

That would be awesome, but were would he fit? Comedy tent or a stage?
Mr Lynch was some great entertainment on the ride down last year. I don't know why I never thought of it, but I'm going to bring some stand up (Probably some Mitch Hedburg) for the ride down this year.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!
He's in Sweden June 9th, so it's hard to see him getting back in time for Roo. Still how awesome would a Tenacious D/Stephen Lynch/Flight of the Conchords lineup be?

^^^ Dude, that'd be amazing! I saw Lynch live about a month ago when he came to Lincoln and laughed my ass off. Seriously, I don't think I stopped laughing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but you're right dudezer, he probably won't be there.

I first heard Lynch when he was a semi-regular on the Opie & Anthony radio show years ago. He'd play his stuff live in the studio and the place would fall apart. He and Paul Mercurio (from The Daily Show) made up a song on the fly one day called "FBA (Full Blown AIDS)", which eventually led to O&A starting up a "most offensive song" contest (you don't want to know what the winning song was...).
To this day, Lynch still has people shouting out "FBA!" at his shows in the NY metropolitan area.

my name is Stephen Lynch. I'm sick of people asking me if I'm related or something like that. I'd have to do a name change if I wanted to be famous. grrrrrrrrrrrr
