Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
or you could bring up the point that every single "petition" on here means zilch. its not really a petition as much as a handfull of people saying they wish so and so band was playing. i know it might sound crushing, but superfly isnt gunna really listen to you.
*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**

Last I checked message boards were for discussion and voicing opinions. This isn't one of those boards where you get 40 new threads a day, so as long as there aren't 2 threads "petitioning" for a cause then there's no harm in it. Most of those types of threads seem to be pretty lively, so they're worthwhile.
While Im sure they won't have an atomic bomb impact on SF/AC, I would bet that the fine folks (or someone associated) over at SF/AC check these boards fairly regularly. We are their consumers, and this is "the place to be" for everything Roo.
I was born in the back seat of a Yellow Cab in a hospital loading zone and with the meter still running. I emerged needing a shave and shouted 'Time Square, and step on it!

Uummmm . . . I don't think many of us consider it a literal petition. It is just an interesting way to approach starting a thread.
Furthermore, I did not start my petition thinking that Superfly would perhaps listen to us, I'm well aware that basically the whole line up is set, and adding a big name at the request of a messageboard would be unlikely. However, I can assure you that there are people at AC/Superfly looking at this messageboard, maybe they won't do it this year, but when discussion of next year comes up, rest assured they might discuss some of our suggestions.
Anyway, what does anyone care? You don't like petitions? OK, don't click on the thread. However, if you do click on the thread, you will find that it is not actually a petition, but people discussion the subject of the petition. If it were just a thread full of signatures, that would be one thing. But my "Petition to Bring Back the Artist in Residence" thread could have well been titled "Who wants to see them bring back the Aritst in Residence", and the thread would have gone essentially the same.
In essence you're being overly semantical, and taking the title of the thread literally, when it is only meant to serve as a headline.
^ well put. im pretty sure that we are some of the more hardcore Bonnaroo fans out there and we also plug the sh!t out of Roo and this board has probably convinced a lot of people to go to Bonnaroo so Im sure execs from AC/SF are checkin out inforoo too. (how could they not?! everybody loves inforoo)

If they wern't looking at inforoo before the line up leaked, they are now.
When you're the guy who blows up there spot, they track you down man, I've been on the lamb for about 6 weeks now. (Seriously though, there was a guy from Superfly who created an account and PMed me after it all happened, so they're certainly watching us . . . Hey guys at Superfly! How's it going? Please give us more cool additions, and put Robert Randolph in charge of the whole weekend. Also, make the White Stripes a 3 hour, late night show on Which Stage. Thanks! [Hey, I didn't even have to start a petition!])
^PM the dude from superfly and tell him that I do have an arsenal of obscure torture devices and that he will fall victim to atleast five of them if he doesnt add Les tomorrow. thanks for the help detective.
haha, that reminds me of the South Park episode with the non conformists. "to not conform, you must wear all black, cut your hair so it hangs in front of your face, smoke cigarettes and mope constantly."

Yeah, I don't really care who starts what petition, in fact I agree with most of them, especially the Arcade Fire one. It's just funny how there seems to be a lot of them, that's all I was pointing out.
hahaha, its a show ive been listening to, all the songs besides farmhouse dont have id3 tags so its the only song that registers when i listen to that show over and over.
but yes, i do like farmhouse. and i get made fun of for it constantly.

You can't be a non-conformist if you don't drink coffee ;D

I think it's funny how Jeremy Piven looks older in that movie than he does in Entourage. He has more hair later in his acting career then back when he just got started.
