Yeah, I agree, its starting to get a little absurb. Usually we would have something by now. I am starting to seriously question the number of unannounced performers they have.

I honestly believe this long wait is gonna hurt ticket sales next year in the sense that a lot more people are gonna actually wait for the announcments before they buy their tickets. The wait is gettin crazy now.
i agree. and it is upsetting that we have no announcements. and we have a list of acts that will probably make up the addition.. so i doubt it will be anything we dont know when we do get it. but truthfully im so excited about hearing that grace potter and the nocturnals will be back that im happy for a day. possibly 2.

Is it possible their waiting for some of the additions to sell their own tour tickets first, then announce their participation at Bonnaroo, this is my theory, based mostly on my want of Modest Mouse to attend...
The fact that it was just announced The Police will also be headlining the American leg of the Virgin festival, along with The Smashing Pumpkins and The Beastie Boys, I would think Superfly would be wanting to make an announcement very soon.
The longer they wait the more of the adds get leaked as well...
Yeah, eventually all the artists they're going to use as additions are going to post there tours or the rest of there tours and then Bonnaroo won't be able to use there addition trump card for more sales. To me it's starting to sound like poor planning on there part.

There's an assumption on this board that artist announcements are supposed to entice people who haven't bought tickets yet. I disagree. Those who haven't bought tickets yet are likely waiting until they get the money together and there are still months to go until 'roo. This year is going to sell out but it won't be because of the artist additions.

Well there'll be an announcement. Simply cause Superfly said so. We just don't know when. Plus, there's still another 20-30 artists still to be announced.

man bonnaroo is worse then xmas ever was. i didnt even start losing sleep over xmas till like the 22nd. now with roo its a 6 month torture! but the payoff is better then xmas ever was.
