"chad g Member Posted February 20, 2007 11:00 AM Hide Post I talked to Robert by the bus after the Durham show on Saturday and I asked him why they weren't on the Bonnaroo lineup yet and he said not to worry that he'll definitely be there. Sounds good to me! Posts: 16 | Registered: November 06, 2006"
^^^^^^If you read the rest of the thread, someone they apparently trust on that site named Kim, said that it is more likely to get Robert and some of the band to do guest appearances with others rather than a full RRFB set

That 1 Guy & Gorillaz. Gorillaz HDnet concert was awesome, and That 1 Guy is one of the best live shows I have ever seen, and he does not look to have anything booked during Bonnaroo. Check him out @ that1guy.com if you haven't experienced the magic pipe.
I would go see Gwar, but I can't say I've ever been a fan of their music. Live shows were always entertaining, but in the same vein I would like to see a reaaaaaly late night set with Cevin Key, Nivek Ogre, and Ed Ka-spel and friends to do a Skinny Puppy/LPD/Tear Garden supershow to close a day of music... I know, only Skinny Puppy would be comprable to a Gwar live show, just a VERY unlikely scenario/wish.
Love them or hate them, GWAR would be an awesome late-night show. IMHO.
I would loooove to see Gwar. Missed them too many times. Not for Bonnaroo though. I'm used to going to metal and hardcore shows, I want a change of pace =)
^youre right there, GWAR isnt exactly bonnaroo material. i saw them one tiem in Atlanta and it was the msot intense show ive ever been to. I wore a whtie undershirt at the suggestion of my friend who had seen them before and I came home and it was almost completely blue and red from various liquids they shot through a cannon and a giant penis throughout the show. Quality time.

bonnaroo has every type of music so i think gwar should be there but thy wont play there so dont worry meat sandwich mars volta, les, modest mouse and daft punk need to be added right now and ween needs a longer set
I voted for Uncle Les cause it just ain't the same without him. I see Les and Trey walking out for a once-in-a-lifetime Police/Oysterhead jam. Oh, it's fun to dream of Bonnaroo in March when the weather just starts to get warm and the trees in Tenneessee start to bud out.

Honestly though, a late night tent show featuring Incubus would be sick. I don't know why people don't think they'd translate well at Bonnaroo. They'd be one of the most electrifying shows there (if you're into incubus that is). One of the things I have always hoped for is Incubus one day, being added to a Bonnaroo lineup.

Oh yeah, in addition to that too. They've played concerts with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers a couple of times in the past as well. Apparently the Police was one of their favorite bands growing up. They played Roxanne, Message in a Bottle, then they played some incubus songs with summers doing the second lead guitar. It sounded pretty bad@ss. I wouldn't be surprised if Incubus had a special guest appearance with the Police at the roo, but since they're touring overseas during roo, I don't see it happening.

Incubus would have been a good fit in their early days, but I'm not sure about now.
