Sorry for all these silly question, but I'm kind of new to the "music that's not constantly on the radio" scene. I've been listening to 30 second clips of Tortoise on Amazon, and I realized none of their clips had lyrics. Do they ever sing? They music was very pretty, but it doesn't seem like it would mesh with the energy of a live gig, especially something like Bonnaroo.
They are considered Jazz and as far as what I have seen they don't sing, but I have seen some live clips of them and they look like they would be an entertaining show to watch. Check out the other thread about Tortoise and the youtube link. Enjoy!
