Besides the fact that the lineup was leaked early, up to this point there has been no major announcement... I know that in the past there have been longer time periods between announcements, but not the first addition (I don't include The Roots and Wild Magnolia as an addition being that they were on the leaked lineup list)... does any one have an opinion about the motives of superfly?

Well, this has already been discussed. But a lot of people think that the reason why there hasn't been any major announcements yet is because superfly doesn't feel like they need to yet. Tickets are selling really well, and there's no reason for them to announce anything until tickets sales start slowing down. So who knows when we'll see one.....

I am very suspicious of their motives. I think we may be looking at an illumanatus-type situation, where a global conspiricy is using the energy from big music festivals to unleash Cthulu and his minions upon the Earth. Personally I think it is one of two things:
1-Ticket are selling that well. So well that as already stated in an above post, they do not feel the need to announce any additions yet.
or
2-The leak of the initial line-up included bands Superfly didn't intend on being on the initial announcement. Meaning, we don't have any additions yet, because most if not all of the bands are already on the initial line-up.
I agree that the most likely motive behind the wait is due to ticket sales being good. But how do we even know how many they are selling? Is there a website that tracks this that I do not know about? Any help here would be nice. Thx
it definately would be nice if there was somewhere to check to see how many tickets are left so i can continure trying to get people to get tickets. it would also allow for those who dont have tix an idea of when they have to get them.

But I'm thinking it's something more.....First they don't give us artist additions, then no free tap water. Before we know it we don't have a Bonnaroo. Then it gets bigger....no tax breaks. It's all the man trying to put us down. Soon we'll be enslaved by a robots that control us through dreams, while we wait like pawns in an imaginary REM state, known as- The Matrix.
But seriously, I agree with you guys above. They have been selling tickets so well that they can just build anticipation and save the best acts.

I think you're underrating the evil Jewish cabala that plans on taking over the world using the federal reserve. I've heard rumors if you play Josh Grobin's newest album backwards, it details of how they plan to use Bonnaroo announcements to distract us while they foreclose on all mortages.
