So far, Friday is in the lead with The Black Keys, Shadow, STS9, Tortiose, Hot Chip, Manu Chao, Brazilian Girls, and Cold War Kids. There will definitely be some conflicts for me on Friday.
There is serious potential for Manu Chao and The Black Keys conflicting and I already figure Shadow and STS9 will be conflicting. But they could potentially have Tortoise, STS9, Hot Chip, Shadow, and maybe even Brazilian Girls playing late night sets, which would kill me. I actually hope that Tortoise and Brazilian Girls play during the day so that I can have a Hot Chip into Shadow trailing into STS9 into the wee hours of the morning (not all on the same stage, obviously). A man can dream.
Of course, if the Lips play on Saturday that tips the scales back to Saturday.
Also thanks to all the people that have been investigating so that we can even ponder this question. Its amazing that we have close to 2/3rds of the bands already pegged - Ziggy and others that might be on the wrong day, notwithstanding
friday would be an epic if in addition to TORTOISE, cheese, manu and sts9 latenight, they booked TOOL (which is likely). im hopin for this all to work out so ill put my vote on friday. that day would forever live in emphamy
i doubt a tortoise latenight but if it happens i will def say f'uck sts9 and not feel bad (tortoise is my #2; sts9 will be cool but they are not a must see for me). tortoise latenight after tool would be insane. i dont think i will have conflicts (at least i hope).
I don't know yet. I think in the end Friday I'll probably see more, better acts, but I think saturday will be the day I'll never forget. With the CWK, the Black Keys, Manu Chao, and Tool (most likely) playing just during the day friday, it'll be epic. Add that to definite STS9 late night and what may be my last Cheese show, it's gonna be a long great day. However, with Ben Harper>The Police>Gov't Mule Saturday looking pretty damn good, I think that's gonna be where my stories really come from.

its real hard to say (by looking at who's been confirmed), for me personally, friday is looking the weakest, with the exception of string cheese incident, whether they play day or latenight, sunday's not too strong, it usually isn't, its the last day, you gotta slow it down at some point, saturday is looking like i will see the most bands of any day, and a lot of my favorites are there already-the police, ben harper, gov't mule, kings of leon, galactic, spoon, keller williams, the hold steady, hot tuna, xavier rudd, the slip, the nightwatchman, and railroad earth-those are who i want to see saturday, when i was at bonnaroo in 2005-i saw 31 bands over the 4 days, i'm looking to do at least that this year, thursday is looking pretty good too, there's like 7 or 8 bands i want to see
wow i prolly wouldnt have ever thought this but i may have to change my vote to thursday, Rod Y Gab, Annuals, National, Elvis Perkins, all on Thursday ??? Yes!
