Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Anyway, I love collecting bootlegs, especially that of Bonnaroo performances. What about you, do you go out of your way to cop the performances that absolutely melted your skull? If so, what are some of your favs?
Hands down, my favorite is Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains - 2002
I really dig Keller Williams from 2003. What a fun set that was!!!
Other honorable mentions: Trey Anastasio - 2004 Damien Rice - 2004 Les Claypool and the FFFB - 2002 YMSB - 2003, 2004 Galactic - 2002 Keller Incident - 2002 James Brown - 2003 Jack Johnson - 2002 moe. sonic stage - 2004 Flaming Lips - 2003 The Roots - 2003 David Byrne - 2004
Maybe I'll throw myself to the dogs, but my back's not to the wall Maybe I'll lay some bricks for the man, but the days just aren't that long So if I settle back and chill will I see far enough to feel the angel's dream? I thought it was the Story of the World!

I always make a point of collecting as many of the shows I see at the roo as possible. That being said the shows that I find myself listening to the most are:
Claypool's Bucket o' Bernie Brains 2002 Galactic 2002 late-night Flaming Lips 2003 MMJ 2004/2005 Primus 2004
I'm also a big fan of the Country Hill Review set and Ray LaMontagne's 2005 set - but those were both released, so I'm not sure that they count as bootlegs.
2003 - The Roots, Michael Franti & Spearhead 2004 - JoJo & His Mojo Mardi Gras Band (my most frequently listened to bootleg), Chris Robinson & New Earth Mud 2005 - Secret Machines, Herbie Hancock (wish I could find Bela Fleck Acoustic Trio) 2006 - Medeski Martin & Wood, Elvis Costello & Allen Toussaint

2002 - Les Claypool & Flying Frog Brigade 2004 - MMJ & Robert Randolph & Family Band 2005 - MMJ & Jack Johnson 2006 - MMJ (im a bit biased) & Radiohead

Last years Umphrey's. Didnt go last year, but they have a sick All In Time on there, and the floyd transition to Bisco, if only they played a better Pay the Snucka. Not my favorite setlist, but they definatly made it work.

Praxis '04 was far and away my favorite. In fact, it's the best piece of music I own. I have both the SBD and the AUD and listen to both. The AUD recording picks up the delay on Buckethead's guitar much better, but the SBD is much clearer (obviously).
Also, I've heard a few audience recordings from this set - the quiet nature of Sam's music, plus the frequent downpours during his set did not make for an engaging recording.
Thanks! I've long since stopped checking out that site. Thanks for the head's up!!!!

Glad to see the Umphrey's love^. Do you have their new years show? I wasnt there, have the sbd though. Awesome set list, and the sickest Pay the Snucka i've ever heard.
ya that show was incredible!!! i wasnt there either but i also listened to it. from the sounds of it it was epic. i had some friends that went and they said the laser show and lights were out of control!! i just got the umphreys sounboards from roo off of oink. sounds soooo much better then the tapers. have you checked out the december 2nd nokia theater show?? its one of my favorites. and incredible show!! heres a link to it on archives. m not sure if the soundboards out there for this night. i never searched. www.archive.org/details/um2006-12-02.akg481.flac
i wish the soundboards would come out for the grab roo show. the recording sucks. i still enjoy it though. same with the all good one. when i wanna hear grab i usually play the soundboards from the 7-19-06 cleveland show as it is the best grab show i have found that isnt from a taper with low sound quality.
