I just wanted to put my thoughts in on who migt play at Bonnaroo/ Who I want to play Bonnaroo. I just read the thread about RRFB and all that speculation ( by the way RRFB would be awsome, they also have a new album out which rocks.) ANyway, Mofro seems to be doing sort of the same thing but not sure if it means anything. If you get on their new web site they have this recording of the crowd cheering at the only Bonnaroo that they have been at. And then I saw them in Atlanta Friday night and he said something abut the crowd at Bonnaroo was so awsome and so loud and then made the crowd try to scream louder than the crowd at Bonnaroo. Anyway, I would love to see them. Anyone else know anything about them playing.
I was at the show on friday also and it was a pretty solid show. I would probably skip over them at bonnaroo if they played simply because they tour so much and you can catch them whenever it seem and at Bonnaroo I try to see acts I normally wouldn't see.
I agree....saw them here in Asheville Sat nite and thought it was a great show. Loved the horns. The new record is great, which would make them a prime candidate for an early-afternoon 'Roo set. Pretty sure they played in 2002 and 2004....so they're due back.
