Do they put on a good show still? It seems they haven't stayed really tight with Flav and Chuck D definitely doing their own things. It seems to me the shelf life of hip/hop groups is a lot shorter than other genres of music...

To me Flav can't really do his own thing. IMO Public Enemy was mainly Chuck D when you think about it.

Public Enemy would be an awesome addition, I would definitely hit up a PE show.
edit: I might add that Tom Morello is a really good friend of PE, and they have done some collaborations at concerts before, so maybe thats just wishful thinking on my part--but it still could happen.
I saw PE at SxSW a couple weeks ago, and they tore it up!!! Flava was celcbrating his birthday, so he was goin nuts. Good stuff though! Would make an excellent choice for last years Cypress Hill spot.
Oh hell yeah, bring me "Here it is, BAM! And you say 'goddam, this is a dope jam!' but let's define the term called dope, you think it mean funky, now, nope!"
or
"The Woman make the men all pause and you got a woman she might make you forget yours, the five letter word to describe her character, but her brain's been washed by an actor"
Yeah, they came out during the black rock boom of the early nineties when Living Colour, 24-7 Spyz, Fishbone, The Hard Corps, etc were all peaking. They had a real rockin' cover of "She Watch Channel Zero" that was kind of the centerpiece of their shows. They've been defunct for about a dozen years now, though.
