EDAN at ROO?

Any fans of this guy?? I am thinking he would kill a late night "rap tent" set up? EDAN + Common + The Roots = Yes Please!

EDAN, saw him in Boston last summer with Cut Chemist and Lyric Born. What a nice suprise did expect to hear what I heard. I think he would be a great addition to Roo.

Edan is pretty ill.

I have to say that Common was disappointing last year though.

And Lyrics Born has to stop hyping the crowd so much and just get down with rhymin'.

true. I hear ya bout lyrics born. Any of you guys seen Aesop Rock before? Hows his show?

Aesrock is pretty slick. I dunno, I love hip-hop but I've never been able to get really excited about a lot of live hip hop beyond the Roots (and the Streets blew my mind last year). As far as live hip-hop goes though, Aesrock is definitely solid.

Edan is my fagvorite rapper right now. That woudl be amazing if he got a set at roo. COnsidering aesop rock got a spot and them both being in the underground rap genre then its possible (i would sh!t my pants if Edan came this year, or any year for that matter).

I caught the same show in Chicago. Cut Chemist actually stole the show for me that night, but Edan was great.

Two best live hip-hop shows I've ever seen: Lyrics Born before he played with the band and Aesop Rock.
