These are some of my favorites right off the top of my head Spacegrass Mice and Gods Burning Beard 10001110101 Gravel Road Tripping the Alarm Cypress Grove Ghost La Curandera Impetus The Soapmakers The Elephant Riders Careful with that Mic
yea.. between 2001 - present, i've seen most every clutch show within 200 miles of me ( which is NYC / PHILLY / WASHINGTON DC / STATE COLLEGE / JERSEY )
For those concerned about moshing, I just signed up to say that generally, with regard to moshing, if isnt an idiot in there trying to prove a point, there are no conflicts with mosh pits. 99% of the guys thats mosh are chill fellas that just like to have fun like you guys.
i saw clutch on "Viva La Bam" one time a few years back. didnt sound like anything id expect to see at bonnaroo but i guess theyve changed a lot since then. ill have to check them out.
Apparently they had a huge, crazy and rather violent most pit going at Irving Plaza in NYC when they played three days ago. I'm sure the pit won't be as hardcore at Roo though.
These guys will be the band that has what I call the biggest "pied piper" like effect on Bonnaroo. People will just gradually start to migrate towards Neil and the boys!!! I agree Spacegrass is a perfect song, but knowing these guys they might pull out the heavy old stuff Shotgun Names Marcus or Rats (with the new looong jam in the middle) jsut to keep folks guessing.
kudos to the festival itself for putting them on this bill!!!
Will be bar none one of the highlights when it is all said and done.
