I bought O two years ago after catching Damien Rice playing Blower's Daughter on Jay Leno. I was flipping the channels and it stopped me cold in my tracks. He was visibly emotional while singing that track, and I think my boyfriend and I were both left in near tears. I have to respect anyone that can be believably vulnerable and real in any performance, much less while on national TV.
I fell in love with O, and while I'm not as hooked on 9, I haven't listened to it that much.
This is definitely a performance I look forward to, and if possible, work my way close to the stage
We treat mishaps like sinking ships and I know that I don't want to be out to drift Well I can see it in your eyes like I taste your lips and They both tell me that we're better than this

This is a travesty, Lisa's angelic voice can never be replaced in the songs that she's in, I understand why she did it, she wants to make a name for herself too, but I wish she could've stayed in the band while doing it. I wonder what went on, if it was personal reasons, or if Damien and Lisa just couldn't stand eachother. Damien will be fine though, he has so much talent and the main reason I go is to see him anyway.

Yeah bummer she is no longer with him. However I am more than confident that Mr. Rice will still be bringin it at Bonnaroo. I was not crazy about "9" at first but after watching some live versions on youtube, I am absolutely addicted to "9" Simply an amazing album that takes time to reveal its true beauty.

This link is even iller.
He plays two songs that are rarities for him, Insane and Sand. Sand is one my of favorite songs by him, and I actually hadn't ever heard his song Insane until I checked this video out. It's pretty good!
